Warrant Officer Wayne Yeadon LCGI
Squadron Warrant Officer
Warrant Officer Yeadon is a former cadet at 2168, joining the squadron in December 1990. Having given the squadron 9 successful years service and attaining the rank of CWO, he ended his cadet career in 1999 having been awarded the AOC's Commendation after saving the life of a work colleague.
After a change of command at the squadron, WO Yeadon was actively recruited and returned to his home town unit as a CI in early 2001. Due to his time and experience in the organisation he was quickly moved into uniform, taking up the post of Squadron Warrant Officer. As a qualified Range Conducting Officer and Weapons Instructor, for both small bore and full bore weapons, he heads up the Squadron's shooting task and is also a qualified Drill Instructor having scored highly on his Drill Instructors course at RAFC Cranwell during 2004.
Personally, Wayne works as a Cover Supervisor at a local secondary school and through his passion for Rugby League also works as a Match Day Co-ordinator for the Bradford Bulls RLFC.
